One of the most important blogs written in Tunisia isĀ A Tunisian Girl.
The writer, Lina Ben Mhenni, is well known for a few reasons: She writes primarily in French, doesn’t censor herself and writes under her own name. A while ago she posted on her blog a poem about Tunisian women written by Arturo Desimone. Arturo, well known to the Mezrab crowd, was inspired by his visit to mid/post-revolution Tunisia. In remembrance of International Women’s Day, here’s a small piece:
