Blogging has been patchy as of late. The reason is that I’ve left the country to tour with a great band. Remember the Ajam band I’ve blogged about after some Mezrab musicians were invited to play at the BBC Nowruz event? They’ve asked me to join them for a little tour in Libanon and Egypt. While events still run in Amsterdam we’ve been rehearsing in London and are stepping on the plane tomorrow. In case you missed the last post about them, here’s a sample of their work. These guys are working very hard to find and save snippets of music of all different cultures Iran has.
